Manouchehr Harsini was born in Tehran Iran. After finishing high school he moved to America to continue his education in the field of architecture, at “ Miami Dade Community College “. After he finished Miami Dade, he attended “ New Jersey Institute of Technology“ in the city of Newark to continue his studies; but then, due to the distance from New York City - where he worked and also he had lost his interest in architecture and found theater directing much more creative, he transferred to Jersey city where was much closer to the City and attended “ Jersey City State university “ . Here Manouchehr very seriously attended the academic duties and performance works-shops. During this four year he had accumulated numerous works in various stage design and school productions as a director. Upon graduation, he started working as an assistant to one of his former professors at “Theater For The New City”. Where he met with Mrs “ Chrystal Field “ the artistic director of “TNC” where this working relationship lasted twenty years . During these two decades at TNC, Manouchehr first started as a production assistant in their annual street theaters then moved up to various positions in designs and AD to “Crystal Field “ and finally achieve directing his own productions. His first directorial debut was an operatic Persian fable called “The Little Black Fish “ in short “ LBF” That he himself wrote in the musical genre where his musical director was : “ Jose Luis Greco “ . This was taken from a book by the same title which Harsini had translated and adopted for the stage. The success of this piece was so much that Mr. “ David J. Klein “ had an interview with “ Harsini” at ” Fox News “and called it :” A Theatrical event in TNC that you can not missed “ ! This interview was rebroadcast on other networks as well.
